3 best types of engagement ring

3 best types of engagement ring

Engagement rings have definitely changed a lot since the past years. The rings that were used as engagement rings earlier are rarely used for the purpose. And the rings that were never used as engagement rings are coming into the light as engagement rings. A cocktail ring for engagement might not be the best choice, but if you wanna go bold then do it. This article is not like a cocktail ring vs engagement ring or any other types of comparisons, instead we are showing you the top 5 best types of engagement rings you can pick from.

Pave settings

Pave setting rings are a visual representation of luxury. Why leave the surface empty when you can fill it up with diamonds? This might be exactly what the creator of the ring might have thought. Not only a diamond, you can choose any gemstone of your choice, but diamond is just another level of elegance and beauty. But if you find some other gemstone beautiful, you can go for that. The diamonds on the surface are closely arranged and set in place with beads of gold or platinum.

If you’re significant other is someone that likes sparkly things, then a pave setting ring is the perfect choice for an engagement ring. It’s completely covered in diamonds which does not expose the boring surface area. The complete diamond quoting gives the ring a very classy look.

3 stone rings

3 stone rings are very popular these days. These types of rings work best if you want a mixture of gemstones of various colours and don’t want to settle for a single kind. It will also be best if you are someone like me that likes 3 types of gemstones and cant pick a favourite.

On the other hand if you want a ring with a hidden meaning or a symbolization then a 3 stone ring will still be in the list. The three stones in the ring are the representations of the past, present and future of the relationship.

A more traditional design for this model is to have a slightly big gemstone in the middle and have 2 equal sized and same coloured gemstones on the two sides. The most common type of stones used in engagement rings are princess cut diamonds, but you can also place them alongside some colourful gemstones like rubies and sapphires, that would look amazing.

Halo rings

A halo ring is a very striking and vibrant type of a ring. This is the ring that makes the closest resemblance to cocktail rings of the olden times. A cocktail ring is not particularly made for the engagement ring finger, but if you like the design and want something like a cocktail ring, then a halo ring is the best choice.

Conclusion: no matter whatever type of engagement you decide to choose, make sure your shopping journey should be one that’s worth remembering. Don’t get too stressed out about it and take opinions of your significant other and plan something according to their liking.
